I mean, sure, I'm willing to pause talking about abortion bans briefly to talk about all the other ways our country is murdering women, like police shooting Black women, all the murderous things we're doing to Native women, murders of trans women. Which one of those you want?
Like, we've got NO SHORTAGE of things this country is doing to women to scream about.
And yeah, I mostly boost other people talking about those issues rather than talking about them myself because I'm largely out of my lane on it. But okay, let's talk about people you should be listening to.

And, like, this is nowhere NEAR comprehensive. But there are all kinds of people talking about issues that affect women and other marginalized genders--often fatally--and lack of abortion access isn't the *only* thing killing them.
And let's be real: as usual, abortion bans are going to hit marginalized women the hardest--women of color, poor women, disabled women, etc.--and yet the reason it's getting so much media attention is because it scares white women.
Absolutely, fight it tooth and nail. And do so by working with organizations that have been doing this work, and are led by women of color and queer women.
And scream just as loud about trans women getting murdered, missing and murdered indigenous women, Black women getting killed, suicide rates for young queer women and genderqueer folks. Scream about the maternal death rate.
Because it's all interrelated.
Because it's all interrelated.
And if you want to talk about valuing women's lives, let's make sure we're talking about ALL women. Not just pregnant ones. Not just white ones. And not just women.
