Much of the losses were incurred by Regents' own customers, pension funds for state railway workers.
Betting against your own customer's pension fund to charge them to steal their retirement money.

Former Malaysian PM's trial reveals $626M in payments to a private bank account. Much of it from the Saudi Ministry of Finance & it's minister Faisal al Turki!
Razak is on trial for the One Malaysia Development Board corruption that stole billions through corruption. He was getting payments from then Saudi Finance Minister Faisal al Turki. He had previously been the head of Saudi Intelligence before taking over the Kingdom's money!
It looks like some of this money may have been paid from Saudi Finance Ministry accounts & then refunded to Prince al Turki! That might explain why he is not Finance Minister anymore! straitstimes.com/asia/se-asia/m…

1) So, you don't think the Mueller investigation helped lead the investigations into the global money laundering cases & back to the Swamp? Let's look at the trouble found with Swedbank! #ButNothingsHappening
2) Swedbank found itself in the crosshairs of the New York State Department of Financial Services along with a lot of other banks identified in the #PanamaPapers in April of 2016. NYDFS subpoenaed 13 banks for all their transactions that linked with connections to NY banks.
3) Remember that foreign corporation that fought Mueller's subpoena all the way to the Supreme Court? The Supreme Court dismissed their appeal Monday, Wednesday we learn Swedbank (not government owned to my knowledge) lied to NYDFS investigators. Thursday their CEO is canned.

#ButNothingsHappening DOJ employee assigned to Congressional support duties was deceiving banks on money laundering cases. The big Malaysian case that resulted in guilty please that is linked to Obama/Clinton Fundraisers & Goldman Sachs.
The money was diverted into lobby efforts that should have been covered under FARA as it was foreign money.
