1/ People are now latching on to the DiGenova interview where he claims Trump’s order was a request by Barr in response to insubordination by Wray.

Of course later in the interview he admits having no direct information, that he’s just piecing things together.

2/ I told you they wouldn’t stop gaslighting you.

Now admittedly I also don’t know what is happening behind the scenes but there is a much simpler explanation.

Just go look at Executive Order 15326 referenced in Trump’s order empowering AG Barr.

3/ (d) “...When such questions arise, they shall be referred to the agency head or the senior agency official. That official will determine, as an exercise of discretion, whether the public interest in disclosure outweighs the damage to the national security...”

4/ One of the challenges in Barr’s task is that Brennan compartmentalized this operation in such a way that little pieces are hidden within various departments and agencies.

5/ Even if all of these various people were on board the individuals processes to determine declassification would take forever. By consolidating everything into Barr’s control you streamline the process.

6/ Ultimately here’s the one thing you know from reading Trump’s order. If it’s true that anyone is stonewalling Barr then you will hear about firings very soon.

Either way, stop letting them gaslight you!
