1/ It’s been 24 hours since Barr told the world that, of all the things he could have mentioned, he was particularly focused on the Trump Tower meeting where Comey asked to meet alone with Trump to reveal the dossier.

2/ Yet the media has barely touched on it. They are like deer in the headlights.
Why?
Because investigating this meeting threatens them and their sacred cow, Barrack Obama.

3/ How are the media and their sacred cow Obama threatened by an investigation of the 1/6/17 Trump Tower meeting? Because the key to understanding that meeting is understanding the events that preceded it and followed it.
4/ Thanks to Susan Rice’s email written in the minutes after Trump was sworn in, we know that the day before this meeting Comey, Yates, Rice, Biden and Obama sat around a table and discussed what would and would not be revealed to Trump the next day.
5/ They treated the PEOTUS as a target. Presumably some members at that meeting must have also been aware of the media’s intention to use that briefing as a hook to reveal the dossier to the public. Obama had to realize the true intentions behind this “briefing”.
6/ The stated purpose given to Trump for this briefing was to bring him up to speed on the Russian efforts to interfere in the election. In truth this briefing was design to attach an anchor around the Trump administration.
7/ I’ve speculated that this day may have been the beginning of a ruse where Comey and Trump began a series of actions to thwart the coup. There are some interesting threads that lead to the dismantling of the McCabe small group. Let’s set that aside.
8/ Assuming things as commonly understood Comey met alone with Trump, gave a limited explanation of the dossier, then left and wrote a memo he would later use to force the creation of a special prosecutor. If taken at face value, Comey began a leverage play against Trump.
9/ Was Obama aware Comey would do this? A plain reading of Rice’s email says there was discussion of how to manipulate Trump’s understanding of the full scope of the operation against him.
10/ Rice’s “By the book” comment is an interesting phrase. Just look at Comey and McCabe’s justifications for what they did. According to them, everything was predicated. This was all common practice. Clearly they had strategized how to play this out and how to get away with it.
11/ And clearly the media had a key role to play in undermining the administration. They were rigged to launch the public wing of the operation. CNN Immediately reports on the dossier and ultimately Buzzfeed published it. All the while implying Trump was under investigation.
12/ Comey was telling Trump that he wasn’t a target but he wouldn’t say that publicly. The net affect was to cast a cloud of suspicion over the Trump administration. A cloud that we now know definitively was based on false information thanks to Mueller.
13/ So what do you see when you look from a wide angle perspective? There was a corrupt plan launched by the Obama administration with the help of holdover bureaucrats, politicians and establishment media to undermine the duly elected President.

14/ And how did it all crescendo? Trump fired the FBI Director that started this corrupt operation. The second in command at the FBI then launches investigations against POTUS. A special counsel is appointed that they all hope will bring down the President.
15/ Instead Trump was cleared. No collusion. No obstruction. Which casts a completely different light on what exactly was being strategized in the Oval Office on 1/5/17?!? How was the media so prepared to role by the next day? The nexus between these two will be exposed.
16/ This is why the Democrats and the media are so driven to destroy Barr. He’s an existential threat to them. Americans will not abide what was done to Trump. Not once they understand it. Inevitably Barr will come under a series of blistering attacks.

17/ He’s not only targeting Obama and the media, he’s announcing it on live TV. Boldly. With a smirk and a wink and a nod. There’s a basis for his concern and he’s going to do what’s right.
