Hate Fest in Canada, Times Square

You might expect to see signs calling for the massacre of Jews on the streets of Tehran or Gaza City. But last Friday, May 31, 2019, they showed up in downtown Toronto in the presence of 100 police officers who did nothing to stop them.
Similar sentiments were expressed in New York’s Times Square the same day.

What was the occasion? The Al Quds Day hate fest, held annually on the last Friday of Ramadan.

Immigration officials said "Operation Crosscheck," which netted suspects all over New England who were already ordered out of the country but still committed a crime, are all being flown home.
Some will be put on Boeing 737s owned and operated by U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement or similar jets chartered by ICE. A few others, an immigration official said, will be escorted on commercial flights by ICE agents.

The new emergency facility in Carrizo Springs, Texas, will hold as many as 1,600 teens in a complex that once housed oil field workers on government-leased land near the border, said Mark Weber, a spokesman for Office of Refugee Resettlement.
The agency is also weighing using Army and Air Force bases in Georgia, Montana and Oklahoma to house an additional 1,400 kids in the coming weeks, amid the influx of children traveling to the U.S. alone.

It's at the Bel Mondo Center on alRashid St, which is the sea road in Gaza City, just south of the port. The trade fair is called the Marketing Spring Festival. The venue has more footage on its FB page, but it's boring grand opening speeches, etc facebook.com/belmondo.cafe.…
The cafe at the venue looks nice, there is also an adventure playground there for kids, with rides, bumper cars, etc.

When I saw this, I was like, whoa they have pizzerias in Gaza. Who knew? I didn't know back then that Gaza is full of thriving restaurants. Turns out the pizzeria in question is a well-known Gaza establishment called Pizza a-Taboon بيتزا الطابون.

This Gaza situation. I don't know if people (by people, I mean "people who can't find Gaza on a map, or don't know it's Occupied by Israel, or how close it is to Europe, Turkey, Syria, Lebanon, Egypt...etc.) understand how dire it is.
When I was in Gaza 20 years ago, it was dire.
