2. Earlier this morning, Israeli security forces conducted a counterterrorism operation in the center of the Jenin camp, to apprehend a terror squad belonging to the Islamic Jihad terror organization.
3. During the operation, the terror squad opened fire toward the Israeli security forces and a crossfire was exchanged, during which three terrorists were eliminated.
Days after we revealed that 50% of the Palestinian deaths in 2022 were claimed by terror groups, the NYT asserts that there is a "rush by armed groups to claim those killed as martyrs," and that most were, in fact, civilians.
There's just one problem with that: it's not true.
