Reminder that if you have a 4th grader, s/h/they and your whole immediate family gets into any national park for free. Summer’s here, and they are almost done with this benefit. nationalparks.org/our-work/campa…
Anyway I think this is an amazing incentive that not a lot of people are aware of. And you don’t need to go all the way to Yellowstone or whatever. The program also covers all federally managed lands and sites and there’s a huge Amtrak discount too nationalparks.org/our-work/campa…
And if you have a rising fourth grader, now is the time to plan multi-family or class trips. HUGE savings for you/school/PTA
Finally, if you can help spread the word especially to communities that are underparked, please do so. There are federally managed sites near most.
