Shreveport, LA just repealed its extremely racist 12yo law banning saggy pants after police shot a black man in Feb who ran while being stopped for wearing saggy pants.
The man was allegedly armed & after being shot 8 times by police, allegedly shot himself (?). Normal country.

The police shot Childs three times but it was a forth shot, fired by Childs himself... into his own chest, that actually killed him police claim. It was ruled a suicide. The other wounds were incidental according to the corner.
It all began because Childs had saggy pants. A fact left out of media reports for weeks, the reason for the initial approach was simply referred to “an undisclosed reason”
