Our Great Patriot President apparently assumes that every conversation he has with a non-American is potentially criminal. That's not a tell or anything. 
Husband of "Be Best Trump" can't tell the difference between a scheduled conversation with Prince Charles about climate change, and a clandestine offer of hacked emails from an anonymous fence. Six of one, half dozen of the other.
This makes sense given what we've learned about Trump's business ethics. Basically, his profit margin (such as it has existed) relies on pushing things just a bit past that line of criminality that constrains his more ethical competitors.
