I know there are those who say our concern as the people of God should be private soul-saving, private devotion, private praise, & personal morality that addresses issues of the inner man only.
There are people who would limit the voice of the faithful to the categories of abortion, homosexuality & prayer in schools in a way that violates the ultimate requirement of God that we love one another.
I know there are those who espouse some kind of weird theology that places God on the side of private ownership at the expense of the poor, on the side of mass gun ownership & support for the death penalty as some sort of divine sacrifice.
These preachers say the church should have no real voice in social/cooperative liberation. But there must be a moral movement that challenges the ways these people dismiss too liberally so much of what God says.
