Trump's attorney told Manafort's attorney he would be "taken care of." 1/5
While Manafort was supposed to be cooperating with Mueller's team, his lawyers were regularly briefing Trump's lawyers on the discussions.

They *never exited that joint defense agreement.* 2/5

Every single person in that joint defense agreement was promised a pardon. For lying.

And Manafort was lying his ass off.

Trump publicly stated that Manafort's lying was "very brave." 3/5

We don't know WHO is all part of the JDA.

But the Mueller Report makes clear that they were ALL promised pardons. That they'd be "taken care of." 4/5

Trump's pardoning Manafort won't stop State charges - but everyone else in that joint defense agreement is watching right now to see how Trump treats Manafort.

The Rikers move is a signal to all of them: "Trump's still got your back." 5/5

Manafort was under a gag order, you BOTH knew it, but as his surrogates you violated it.

You intentionally brainwashed Americans to believe that Mueller was corrupt. And a SINGLE juror caused a hung jury on 10 counts.

What Paul Manafort wouldn't give up to Mueller's team:

He was never the campaign point person with Russia.

Jared Kushner was.
Shortly after the 2013 Miss Universe pageant, the Kushners made a trip to Russia. They spent 4 days there and hung out with oligarchs VERY close to Putin.

While there (Feb 2014) the Kushners attended a gala alongside the heads of Alfa Bank and LetterOne.

And according to this article, "Since that night, a cone of silence seems to have descended on many of the attendees, usually gossipy folks who now refuse to talk about it."

Fact: Jared Kushner met throughout the 2016 campaign with the leader of a Russian think-tank. He met with him to get advice on how to integrate pro-Russia policy into Trump's foreign policy.
