Do you ever find yourself scrolling through the Netflix or Amazon Video catalogues for so long, you might as well have just watched something instead?
Especially the infinite schlock on Amazon Video. Stuff made for 50p in somebody's basement on a shaky GoPro, or Z-list films from the 70s, or random foreign stuff that nobody ever watched even when it first came out. Like trying to find gold in a mud heap.
Ended up treating myself to a rental of the digitally remastered Terminator 2: Judgement Day. Looks glorious.

As Boris Johnson puts the finishing touches to his victory speech over the next few weeks (who are we kidding - he has probably recited it nightly like a liturgy since he was potty trained) it's worth considering whether any PM has ever inherited a weaker & more divided party?
And the honest, gleeful, sing it from the rooftops heart-warming answer is: NO!

In other words, Boris Johnson is about to get exactly what he deserves: a nightmare disguised as wish fulfilment.

He will make history, all right, but as a byword for impotent ineffectuality.
Someone had to set the low water mark by which all future ineptitude will be gauged.

Boris Johnson, everyone 👏 👏 👏

Please spread widely. MP Mark Field viciously attacks a woman who had been participating in a protest at the dinner he was attending. Just shocking, absolutely shocking and disgusting. As well as police hopefully getting involved, this must surely prompt a recall and by-election?
Some Tories are doubling down: "The Tory MP, Sir Peter Bottomley, defended Field, saying the activist 'was trying to create a fuss. Most viewers would say it’s good that she didn’t succeed''." If you're in a hole, dig deeper. It's the Tory way!

I’m getting a number of “what about the Covington thing now???” tweets. I get it, because I’m ABSOLUTELY guilty of sharing one of the first videos I saw that were available. Longer ones emerged over the next 48. more info still coming out. Watched the YouTube and longer clips..
So yeah, here you go. My initial take was that these kids behaved like ignorant, disrespectful, mocking children. I was upset. I watched the two hour video on YouTube, and the longer clip...and here’s what I think now...
