Joe Biden drew 85 people for his launch in Pennsylvania. His main office is there but he has rejected fossil fuels which bolster the economy in the state. Since then he has had 200 at rallies, but that includes security, staff, and reporters.

Despite this fact, the Obama administration banned white potatoes from the federal WIC program in a 2009 regulation, a ban that was repealed in 2017 after policymakers realized that potatoes were a nutritious and economical food source.

As a “throwback to some earlier days,” I suspect Trump is giving the Iranians some reason to worry about their next step. This is one of those moments when Trump’s brash, crude, and indiscreet style of governing-by-tweet actually serves the interests of the country very well.
President Reagan approved, but then also canceled at the last minute, several planned retaliatory attacks on Hezbollah after the 1983 Beirut Marine barracks bombing, and for the same reason: too many civilian casualties. But this never became publicly known until much later.

Earlier on Thursday the President appeared to give the Iranians a chance to back down. He told reporters that Iran made a “very big mistake” and that it might not have been an act ordered by Iran’s leaders but possibly an act of one crazy Iranian who fired the missile on his own.
This isn’t a President who waffles once he decides to protect America via military action. I suspect that the attack was always meant to be aborted, and the preparation was meant as intimidation to push the rogue regime into talks.
