This is tough to look at, but this is where I’m from. Cuyahoga County is where I was born and raised. We have to tell the truth about what is going on inside our prisons in jails, starting with our own communities.

@AdamFerrise Someone on Tuesday threatened to kill Cuyahoga County Jail officers if another inmate died. Eight inmates died in the county jails in 2018; one died in May. The deaths sparked an FBI investigation and a criminal probe by the Ohio Attorney General’s Office. cleveland.com/metro/2019/06/…

I had shared Maureen Dowd’s valentine to Speaker Pelosi, but then I thought better of it. Find it on your own. I’ll address the writing first: it was irresponsible, applying no critical thinking whatsoever to a horrid Senate border funding bill—or Pelosi’s role in its passage.
What did Tlaib, Omar, Pressley, and Ocasio-Cortez do to Pelosi to make her so dismissive and cruel to them? It’s evident that she views their worth purely in terms of their votes in Congress—labeling their public support as “whatever.” She goes out of her way to insult them. Why?
(Also, I ask that you please stop with the sarcastic “we’re so surprised such-and-so sucks as a columnist/politician/etc.” tweets. They are exhausting to read and not nearly as clever as you all think. I have my opinions on Dowd as a columnist, but I am making a specific point.)

Trump is going to war over this Census citizenship question because white identity politics and supremacy in a diversifying America are as much “kitchen-table” issues for his voters as tax cuts and unemployment rates. We should discuss them accordingly. axios.com/scoop-trump-co…
Trump’s insistence upon adding the citizenship question is not purely about ego and unwillingness to accept defeat. It shows his dedication to advancing white supremacy and entrenching it in our politics. The question is designed to be racist. It isn’t about him. It’s about us.
Well, it is about Trump in one respect: an executive order issued to circumvent a Supreme Court ruling—refusing to offer the new justification for the question and simply attempting to impose it—would be yet another impeachable offense, and a particularly serious one, at that.

A sick law enforcement culture stems not only from unchallenged racism of the employees themselves, but the racism demanded of them daily. If their actual job is to commit bigotry, they’ll probably spend much of their free time justifying it to themselves. propub.li/2Yt4mTs
That is no excuse for the vile behavior that we see @propublica reporting here, and every single person involved in that @CBP Facebook group should never work in law enforcement again. It is little wonder why migrant kids are suffering and dying in America’s concentration camps.
The report—along with today’s congressional visit to the camps—only reinforced why they have to be closed now. That Trump, his government, and his supporters only deflect or deny the truth of these horrors is an echo from history that should chill us all. cnn.it/326L7kD

They stole the plan to lead humanity to something higher. They promised to use it for good. For 2000 year (straignt time) they tried to bend the rules and have been drinking humans the entire time.

There is no soul trap, it is for those who steal the light of the world.
If you eat the light of others, you exude darkness, like a black hole. They have become black holes. If you eat your own darkness and say, "hmm, how can I improve my personality?" you will emit light and this will be observed.

Light goes with light, darkness goes with darkness.
No one is going back. Their plan was to break the time scale. Everyone is going foward. Those with little light will be capable of seeing what they are at the level they desire. They will be in ignorance and darkness because of their profession.

The Cohen hearing has begun. Republican Rep. Mark Meadows immediately raises a point of order to complain that Cohen's testimony was not submitted 24 hours in advance. He moves to postpone the hearing.
Meadows, shouting, says Cohen submitting his testimony last night was an "intentional" move to show his "disdain" for the committee.
Republican Rep. Jim Jordan then interjects to complain that CNN (supposedly) had Cohen's testimony before he did.
