A few observations about the Field grabbing the Greenpeace activist video.
If the protestor had been a man there’s no way he’d have reacted like that. Even a smaller man he’d not have grabbed by the back of the neck.
That Field says he reacted on instinct is probably right.

That instinct is to behave like this... makes you wonder about his character and attitude towards women in general.
That objectively he was under threat is questionable. An event like this would have had a bag check at least.

The protestor had a sash on saying “Climate” (I can’t read all of it) and had a tiny bag and some papers.
Yes, Greenpeace can be annoying. That’s what they do. But, you know, part of the clue is in the second half of their name.

That this protestor can rile a Minister like this is itself interesting.
All these people saying he has an impeccable character etc. - sorry but that doesn’t wash.

If this is assault he should be tried for it. Simple. That he’s a MP and Minister isn’t justification to let him off.
