Can we just take a minute to recognize @RepJoeWilson was 100% correct TEN years ago, he took absolute hell for calling @BarackObama a liar. Take a look at @SpeakerPelosi and @JoeBiden's pretending it's the most horrifying thing they've ever heard.
Obamacare won't pay for abortions or cover illegal aliens😂 LIES LIES LIES all of it.
BTW Jimmy Carter called him racist for this moment.

Has anyone ever asked @CoryBooker why he sold his Condo to his own charity for $1 months before his bid for Senate? Then his Charity sold it right after he swore in and miraculously stopped filing 990’s.

Even more odd is the fact that he sold his place for $1.00 ten days before his trusty Perkins Coie lawyer, Marc Elias, filed his financial disclosure. Hmmm.
Sadly we may never know what Cory’s good old “Newark Now Inc” was up to they failed to file any returns for THREE years and finally had their tax exempt status removed.

🔎New Comey/McCabe emails released as part of McCabs investigation. Late October 2016 was a busy time.
10/27 McCabe alerts Comey that team MYE has “come across some additional actions they need to take” suggests they should meet and discuss implications.
The next day 10/28 Comey tells McCabe in the AM he’s made the decision to apparently go solo (presumably regarding MYE) clams McCabe and the institution don’t need to be dragged through it, Andy feels terrible (and also can’t spell or punctuate)
That same night Comey thanks his trusty team and makes a dorky joke. Next day 10/29 McCabe checks in with Jim hoping his day wasn’t destroyed by current events, offers his ear then Comey says “I suck ⬛️⬛️”

#ProTip to bring attention to stock holders add a “$” symbol before whatever abbreviation that stock uses on the NYSE, twitter treats it just like a hashtag. Would suggest only using it when you have a specific point about said company💡
If you don’t know the companies abbreviation on the stock market, just search company name and NYSE.

Here we are: June 19th. New comic book day, and the release date for THE AMAZING NIGHTCRAWLER issue #5. It's over.
This was always a limited series, part of a gated AU that had a set beginning and end. We didn't get canceled. I told a story in five issues, and finished it, and I'm proud of what I did.
I'm still deeply saddened. When you sign with a traditional literary agent, one of the first things they do is ask you what you want out of your career. This is so they can talk you down if you say you're going to be the next JK Rowling, and so they can go for what you want.

Ten years ago today Scott Roeder murdered abortion provider Dr. George Tiller while Tiller was serving as an usher at his church. I still remember the message @robinmarty sent me as soon as the news broke
I remember scrambling home to help cover the story. I was newish to legal journalism at the time and had about a year prior decided to devote most of my attention to conservative efforts to overturn Roe v Wade.

I could feel my heart thumping in my throat.
I grew up in Omaha Nebraska and remember very clearly Summer of Mercy protests. I knew Wichita.

All I could feel was this immense sadness and dread and worry about how bad it could get.

That was Ten. Years. Ago.

Ten years ago today, abortion provider Dr. George Tiller was shot and killed while serving as an usher in his church. He was the eighth abortion provider to be murdered by anti-abortion terrorists. A thread on his legacy and the cost of anti-abortion violence:
Dr. Tiller was in the cross-hairs of targeted anti-abortion harassment and violence. In 1986, his clinic was bombed. He survived an earlier assassination attempt in 1993 - he was shot in the arm by an anti-abortion terrorist. He returned to work two days later.
Bill O’Reilly, then of Fox News, was on a campaign to target and defame Dr. Tiller. In the four years leading up to his assassination, he talked about Dr. Tiller on 29 episodes of his show, frequently calling him “Tiller the Baby Killer.” That rhetoric has very real consequences.

Ten minutes a day of meditation has completely changed my relationship with anxiety.
Simply understanding that I am not my thoughts and then learning how to calm/ignore them has changed everything.

I used to run ongoing dialogues in my brain of conversations or situations I had not, + probably would not, ever encountered.

Learning how to notice them was key.
Last year I lost my job, career, and little league with my son.

At times, my brain told me I had lost everything.

And would never get it back.

It was dark. I won’t lie.

Simply breathing in silence ten minutes a day relieved me of that personal torture.
