@PortlandPolice saying this is now a “civil disturbance”. Warning that people near SW 5th/Morrison and near Pioneer Courthouse Square should leave because “riot control agents” will be used in the area. #pdxprotest

I’m near SW Harvey Milk/5th Ave, where a crowd of at least a couple dozen are being blocked from going further by police.

The group has left 5th/Harvey Milk. Went around the block. Back on 5th heading toward Harvey Milk.

Police who blocked them have left. Now heading toward Morrison

Now back near 6th/Yamhill. #pdxprotest

The crowd surrounded some people, at least 1 milkshake was thrown. Another person jumped onto the grounds of the Pioneer Courthouse and yelled at by police to get away.

Police later detained the person.
