A slightly long thread on life and death, from a personal incident 3 years ago. But before all that, the moral of the story: If something unusual (medically) is happening to you or a family member, DO NOT waste any time. Go to the hospital RIGHT AWAY.
The reason I am telling this story is not to get RTs or sympathy from anyone, but because I realised the importance of a few things from that experience, and on the third anniversary of my “second life”, I want to share those.
First, the story. On April 28, 2016, around 4 pm, I was at @the_hindu office in Mumbai when, in a matter of seconds, I was gripped by an intense headache, as if a 5-ton wrecking ball was hitting my temples from the inside.

A thread on why the next generation gives me hope rather than make me despair.

Over the last two weeks, have been interacting with children of ages 9-14 to give away the @htTweets scholarships. I am so proud to have met some of Mumbai's brightest young minds.
One nine year old is writing code to create simple, educational games for underprivileged children who don't have access to e-learning courses that most private schools, including his, have.
A 12-year-old girl - a national swimming champion - is writing a book inspired by the fantasy fiction of JK Rowling. She had created her own universe, and she says the book will be ready by 2019. She is also working to build awareness in non-eu Ketaki sports.

Later tonight the moon will be clearly visible and the usual debate on the size will start, some will claim it’s 2 days old and some 3 days old by mere looking at its size.
The moon will be about 32 hrs old tonight by sunset, it’s altitude will be about 16 degrees and it will set about 1hr 12mins after sunset in most locations in Nigeria. So technically 32hrs is 1.3 days, generally the crescent becomes visible after 20 hrs
It’s als worth mentioning that the verified world record for a naked eye sighting stands at 15 hrs and 32 mins by Steven O’Meara renowned visual astronomer in May 1990.

The moon was 5hrs 37mins old in Tumair Saudi Arabia when it was claimed that it was sighted by naked eye,

What's my sum insured? Is it just me who is covered or my dependents too?

e.g. You have 3 lacs for self plus dependents (parents/spouse/child). This means upto 3 lacs to be used by any of you per year
