1. It took me awhile to decipher one of Trump's morning tweets because it made less sense than usual.

He boasted his foundation "didnt charge rent." He clearly meant he didn't charge his foundation rent for being in his offices.

He's seeking praise for not breaking the law...
2...this tells you everything you need to know about Trump. A foundation gathering money for charitable uses cannot turn around and hand that money as "rent" to the person who founded the charity. It is tax fraud and a violation of charitable self-dealing rules.

3...him saying "I was at a bank and didn't embezzle! So why are they investigating me!" Or "I only SOLD cocaine, I never USED it." I cannot believe we have a president who brags that he resisted a temptation to break the law. What a good boy! Didn't commit a cwime! Gootchy-goo!

1. Another (long secret) Ross Perot story. The family of a friend of mine lived near him. The friend, while training for Olympic Decathlon in Nowhere, Texas, was in a car accident. Local hospital said he couldn't be transported, and they couldn't save this great person.....
2...the mom went to Perot's house, asking for help. Without a moment's hesitation, he arranged for an emergency team from Parkland Hospital in Dallas to get on his private plane and flew them to this flyspeck of a town, where they went to work on my friend.

While the accident...
3...ended his Olympic career, and left him with long-term damage, this man is alive, happy, married, and a symbol of perseverance to Dallas.

Perot didn't say "not my problem." Like with everything, he said "Whenever I can help and do what's right, I will."

He was a great man.

Deficit, all of fiscal year 2015: $439 billion.

Deficit, first SIX MONTHS of fiscal 2019: $746 billion.
Annualized: $1.49 trillion.

Yes, the GOP has added $1 trillion to the annual deficit. But they screamed food for children was too expensive in 2015 because of deficits.
...they had a trillion dollars available for billionaires, but not money for the Children Health Insurance Plan in fiscal 2018.

I do not understand this kind of inhumanity - and then they run off to church and call themselves "good christians."
...they scream now that there is just no money for treating immigrants held in cages with basic human decency, so people like @tedcruz say "Oh, let's take donations from humans who aren't billionaires."

But they had a trillion for billionaires....

I heard the favorite kids' song, Baby Shark, with my goddaughter. This was not around when my kids were little, and apparently today's kids like to listen to it over and over and over.

Today's parents of toddlers have my sympathies.
...oh god. By typing those words, the song has started running through my mind again. I just caught myself going "doo doo da doo-da-doo." HELP ME!
...now people are telling me that, by reading the tweet, the song is running through their heads as well.

It's like the world's most communicable disease. Or the "zombies by sound" method in the great movie Pontypool.

Trump tweeted that he called off the op w/ minutes to go after learning 150 people might die. But "officials said Trump was told earlier Thursday how many casualties could occur...and that he had given the green light to prepare for the operation Thursday morning."
This is a crucial point. As many analysts and observers have noted today, it seemed inconceivable that the military would not have told Trump casualty estimates until minutes before the strike. That info is conveyed in advance, so the president can factor it into his decision.

Twitter released the tweets of another 418 russian accounts on January 31.
I'm going to use this thread to take a look at the information they gave us about these accounts.
And talk about other bots and trolls you can find using this data.

Of the 418 accounts 1 was a double, @CovfefeNationUS it was already included in the last batch of accounts.
One was not actually suspended until I reminded them.
2 of them had active backup accounts at the time of publication of the data.
around 320 of the accounts I had tweeted about a lot. So i'm not going to bother going back over them.
I found them right after NBC put out the 1st batch of tweets from the russian trolls.
They were bots, and most of the data about what they did is unavailable.
