I heard the favorite kids' song, Baby Shark, with my goddaughter. This was not around when my kids were little, and apparently today's kids like to listen to it over and over and over.

Today's parents of toddlers have my sympathies.
...oh god. By typing those words, the song has started running through my mind again. I just caught myself going "doo doo da doo-da-doo." HELP ME!
...now people are telling me that, by reading the tweet, the song is running through their heads as well.

It's like the world's most communicable disease. Or the "zombies by sound" method in the great movie Pontypool.

2...knows that, had trump been president, his family would have been torn apart, they would have been locked up and treated like criminals for following the law on refugee status. “These people don’t understand how asylum works,” he said. He and his whole family now Citizens....
3....I ask, do you support Trump? He replies, and I quote “You think I’m some sort of monster? I would never support those people. They are inhuman.”

Hopefully the “I’m too good to vote” people will hear the “I escaped this nightmare by the skin of my teeth” immigrants.

I spent my childhood in Grantsville - tiny cookie-crumb farming town, yet it was the second largest city in Tooele County. I have family history there, grew up being related to most of the town. Kind of annoying - I've heard all the inbred redneck jokes, trust me.
My family owned a farm, I grew up a farm kid. That's pretty much all that Tooele Valley was up until about 20+ years ago. Farms, farms, and more farms. And the last gasp of the Army Depot, I suppose. Walmart and Wendy's coming in were a HUGE deal.

Today is the 46th anniversary of the Roe v. Wade decision. I’m here because of abortion. Because women in my family were able to get the abortions they needed, legal and not, and move forward with their lives. Just like I was. I’m always thankful for abortion.
Abortion isn’t a new medical procedure. It’s been around as long as pregnancy has. Only in the last 150 years or so has it been criminalized. Pills and herbs that promised to bring back the menses were advertised and shared. It’s not new.

This is why I get very irritated when white people say abortion is worse than slavery or is Black genocide. First off, it’s simply not, and the way this country refuses to address how slavery built this nation and how its legacy lives on is appalling.

Dad was detained in a #Texas detention center where @RAICESTEXAS consulted. Dad accepted a deportation to be quickly reunited w/ his infant child. However, the Dad was deported & NOT his child. The now 8-month-old baby has been in ORR custody for 4 months. #EndFamilySeparation
The Mom and Dad now have once weekly Skype calls with their 8-month-old baby. That's right, folks. They Skype with an infant. #EndFamilySeparation #FamiliesBelongTogether

Alright, let's get this party started: First, numbers aren't 100% accurate but anywhere from 170-190 species of #sharks call Australian waters home. That's a lot, seeing as how there are roughly 500-ish species.
According to the Australian Government's Department of Environment and Energy, of those 170-190 species, around 70 are thought to be endemic. Endemic means "native to a specific region or environment and not occurring naturally anywhere else."
