Majority of Nigerians are Senator Elisha Abbo without power. Give them small power and they will show you "how it is done."

The cultural value of the entity called Nigeria (not the culture of the various ethnic groups within it) is flawed, toxic, abusive.
Run a check on the behavioral change of all those who have climbed the social ladder from poor to relatively rich.

Wielding power (as a result of wealth or position) in Nigeria is directly proportional to how you much you can abuse anyone (everyone) beneath you.
It cuts across all social setting in Nigeria. Remember when you were in SS 2 and you couldn't just wait for SS 3?

And how you finally got to SS 3 and vowed to "revenge" all the bullying you suffered from your seniors?

Or how you were bullied by your seniors? TEENAGE Nigerians
You can trace this culture of abuse to Primary/Nursey school with the concept of class monitor.

We were shaped to see leadership as abuse and control. That is why a 6 year-old primary 3/4 kid is given a cane because he/she is "class monitor."
And kids are groomed to cherish and relish the perks of that "power."

So when kids want to be "class monitor or perfects", it is mostly because they want to exert control/abuse over their mates.

Basically, leadership is internalized as CONTROL and ABUSE. Na for there it starts
Honestly, I personally think the problem of Nigeria as a whole is foundational, it began with the very concept of "Nigeria" of 1914.

Individually, most ethnic groups had/have cultures that espoused leadership values, from childhood through peer groups till death.
Some ethnic groups had age grades. At each age grade, people are groomed to inculcate certain values.

Those conferred with the responsibility of leading saw it indeed as a responsibility to serve.

This wasn't absolute but it worked to a considerable extent.
The creation of Nigeria in 1914 largely undermined and diminished these cultural values.

In place, a conglomeration of several conflicting values came together to birth the "Nigerian culture."

So what exactly is the " Nigerian culture/value?" Someone asked that the other day
If you ask me, the Nigerian culture is nothing positive. None that I can see.

The Nigerian culture/value is abuse, control, valorization of money/power, wastefulness, extravagance, mass myopia etc.

Enough of the rant. This "country" is an open prison. Kill or be killed. 🤦🏿‍♀️🤦🏿‍♀️
