Regardless, the details remind one of reports by US ambassadors to dodgy regimes around the world published by Wikileaks a few years ago. Like them, this leak makes the diplomat look like a pro doing his job in difficult circumstances.

Special Counsel Robert Mueller, noting efforts by Trump operatives to withhold evidence, concluded that a criminal indictment for conspiracy could not be recommended. Two, Trump’s Muslim immigration ban was mostly blocked by federal, not state courts.

Addendum via @NatashaBertrand — thing is, leak doesn’t make @KimDarroch look bad. It makes him look like an experienced diplomat doing his job. Odious Trump stooge Nigel Farage has called for him to be replaced on account of this, which figures.
