1. Last week's Govt Green Finance Strategy contains some stuff which would have been in the 2018 Energy Efficiency Action Plan. BEIS & HMT commit to consult on measures to get mortgage lenders to disclose the *average performance* across their portfolio -cf 🚗fleet average (2/8)

This could pave the way for future regulation, building on the v successful NABERS model pioneered in Melbourne commercial offices &covered in @theCCCuk 2016 Heat report (supported by #Betterbuildingspartnership in the UK) (3/8)

2. In the Green Finance Strategy Govt commits to publish EPC data every 6 months on the open data platform. (4/8)

3. Along with a raft of other measures which have got more attention, including listed companies and pension funds complying with #TCFD on financial disclosure by 2022, and a small pot to get big lenders to develop new green finance products. (5/8)

Great to see this- valuable & much needed. I can remember highlighting the arguments to have an equivalent electrification demonstrator to parallel the h2 R&D back in the 2016 heat policy report- clearly I can't take any credit for this now but it feels good nonetheless🙂 (8/8)
