Just want to say I’ve not seen so many girls with their moms, aunts, cousins walking around lower Manhattan with wide grins. #USWNTParade has brought immense crowds and lifted innumerable spirits!
This was the #July4th parade America really needed, down Broadway’s Canyon of Heroes and Heroines with a million people along the way, cheering, screaming, feeling the power of women who play to win. huffpost.com/entry/us-women…

Temperatures in France are brutal today. Local game time s/b around 9pm. Hopefully some cooling by then. Game is in Paris.

With France coming off a 120 minute extra time game against Brazil, US coach Ellis would be smart to tactically take advantage of the superior depth of the US, but not get too experimental with starters. Fresh legs for second half substitutes can wear Les Bleues down.

And thing is the #USWNT is fighting for equal pay & resources with their country’s men’s team. And for inequalities at play there, same & more exist with #THA vs #USA. If US women’s team are denied equal pay & resources, imagine the obstacles that Thai women’s team fave #FIFAWWC

That means that Lincoln Yards — and its $900M subsidy — is set for a final vote by the City Council today.
