Found a new one! Ecuadorean commerce/exports minister @CampanaPablo spent $1200/night at @realdonaldtrump’s hotel last fall, while visiting to seek better trade relations w/US. Thanks to the reader who spotted this!
Here’s the full details (my compliments to Ecuador for posting its officials’ expense reports online). We have asked Ecuador why he spent so much at Trump’s hotel— will let you know what we hear.

Ok folks, I want to ask your help with something....
This week, an appeals court threw out an effort by the DC & MD AGs to learn which foreign govts have spent $ at @realdonaldtrump's D.C. hotel.
So we're trying to compile that list ourselves...

We looked for all the known instances where foreign governments rented ballrooms at @realDonaldTrump's hotel, or where foreign pols stayed there overnight. Transactions involving serious $, not just a coffee or a steak.

As president, @realDonaldTrump has made 126 trips to his own clubs. But he's not just visiting. He's creating revenue -- at least $1.6M so far, for his own private businesses.
Some of that $ came from the GOP.
