Islamic apologia even turns Jauhar into criticism of “Hindu patriarchy” rather than of Islamic rape culture, by their Book.

Apparently Yezidi girls were killing themselves due to “Yezidi patriarchy”, rather than to avoid being war booty and rape slaves of the Islamic State.

This is due to a simple “liberal” rule—Islam must never be criticized, anything but Islam is to be blamed. Even when #ISIS quotes chapter and verse of the book and follows Sharia, it must not be “true Islam.”

Liberal apologia is indistinguishable from Islamic fundamentalism.

For the Islamic State Yezidi sex slaves were “assets.” They could be sold for money and given to jihadis as rape rewards. Suicide caused loss of valuable property.

No surprise that Jauhar upsets “liberals” so much. How dare Hindu women refuse to be property of their favorites.

In fact “war booty” of women to rape was a big motivation for Islamic armies.

So Allah makes rape moral—“women under the right hand” (i.e. those captured by force) are halal to rape. Allah repeats this in the Book, though omits 5 times daily prayer. Such is its importance.
