“Trump is an America-firster who also supports Brexit and the destruction of the European Union and the western alliance as we know it.” theguardian.com/politics/2019/…
Think long and hard about that. Serving the interests of a foreign state by undermining your own state machinery.
The next question would then be
“Was this a conspiracy involving 2 or more people?”
“Who?”
“When? ” (bearing in mind the November 2016 Dalloch leak
“Who instigated the plan if so?. Was it the leaker or was it someone else putting pressure on the leaker?
“What levers were used if so?”.
This is just the beginning and we may well never see all the evidence.
Protecting British State security and all that.
OR there were more than one leakers.
Who instigated the leaks? Directed at USA and specifically Trump International Relations
This is the third leak, from May 2018 in relation to Iran.

Supported by @SteveInCM on the timelines of the passing of information in private to Tice.
I imagine the police will also want to know what comms if any there were with Trump and his team and timings.
Here is Farage in 2016 suggesting that he would steal Dalloch’s job. (thanks @AsNicoleSeesIt )
All beginning to feel a bit coordinated, isn’t it?
