These countries have the highest share of electric vehicles with Norway bagging the prize on new electric car sales.

But the subsidies end in Norway in 2020.

What then?

weforum.org/agenda/2019/03…
Buying and running a car in Norway is an expensive undertaking. The recently combined car tax and insurance levy is calculated on vehicle weight and emissions; it could add anything between 29% and 100% to the purchase price...but until 2020, electric cars are exempt.
It might be helpful to have more details about av salaries, state subsidies, national debt if we are to understand better the obstacles to moving to electric cars.

For me, in the UK
1) They are too expensive
2) My garage will only take a Fiat 500 comfortably. No electric models!
