@JoeBiden The ACA was dreamt up by the Heritage Foundation. The public option has failed every time it's been tried, because it doesn't get rid of private, for-profit insurance companies, & people are gullible enough to believe that they'll get better care from a private insurance company,
@JoeBiden & thick enough to not get that they're already paying for the coverage of others by participating in a private insurance scheme (that's what the "pool" is into which every person with coverage from the same company pays), & apparently don't understand what "for-profit" means
@JoeBiden (hint: the fed govt has no profit motive, since it is the monopoly issuer of a sovereign, free-floating, non-convertible, fiat currency, so the "death panels" so many fear are already a thing under private, for-profit insurance companies, which exist to make a profit for execs &
@JoeBiden shareholders, & which accomplish this profit-making by denying coverage).
