Unmitigated, the narratives we find on Twitter & Facebook, do great harm in radicalizing fence sitters and entrenching loyal supporters.
The con messages, if kept from public view, can be much more partisan, violent, fascist, whatever. Scheer could be promising Abortion action

And we as Canadians who don’t support the Conservative ideology have no idea what is being said, promised, or if the platform we’ve been given really is the CPC platform.

Presumably, this is an attempt by CPC to circumvent the new elections advertising regulations on third party advertisers and prohibitions from spreading false narratives.

Notably and unsurprisingly, Facebook, Instagram and CBC are going to run ads. That means they require a registry and clear identification of who authorized & paid for the ads.

But my instincts and the low numbers on Twitter and Facebook tell me that CPC has found some way to evade transparency by cloistering their supporters in a protected environment. Thereby bypassing scrutiny and the new regulations.
I don’t have the tech skills or knowledge to find out where CPC is spreading their hate fuelled messages, but it’s not on Twitter.
I remember reading Scheer was encouraging supporters to sign up for private emails.
