Remember those 40 European Union free trade deals that the Trade Secretary Liam Fox said would be rolled over by this week ensuring continuity of trade for UK exporters even if we experienced a no-deal Brexit?...
....as we know only eight of those 40 have actually been concluded (though a ninth was announced last week)...
....which is obviously bad news.

But @BBCNewsnight has further bad news about the eight deals that the Trade Department has actually got over the time...

1/ The Chancellor sought to reassure business leaders immediately after the colossal Parliamentary defeat of the Withdrawal Agreement on Tuesday night that the UK would not crash out of the EU with no deal on 29 March....
2/ So how did he do this when, as the likes of Jacob Rees-Mogg and other hardline Brexiteers tell us, the law says we must leave on that date even if there is no deal?...
3/ Hammond pointed to the amendment being put forward by the Tory backbencher Nick Boles along with others and described it thus...

3/11 - These figures are counted daily by Transport Infrastructure Ireland that employs a system of under surface counters on strategic roads across Ireland that can differentiate vehicles by axle lengths

So the UK is committed to having no checks for stuff going from Republic to the North....which begs the questions set out here in the talking points paper.

If #Brexit has a constitutional doctrine then it is the sovereignty of the whim a Brexiters want what they want with no understanding of the consequences or feasiblity just like toddlers
In the immediate aftermath of the referendum a petition to demand a rerun received 4 million signatures it turned out it was a leaver who put the petition up as he thought leave would lose. He protested it wasn't supposed to be used by remainers
All Leavers are fond of saying you can't have a rerun just cos you don't like the result. Yet nigel Farage Dominic Raab and John Redwood all made clear they'd demand a 2nd ref in the event of a remain win sauce for the goose isn't sauce for the gander evidently
