of 10: Wanted to share some thoughts and shifts in my trading that I've been making the past few months. In the recent months I've really been challenged & inspired by a few traders.
of 10: Hard Stops ~ Challenged by: @inefficientmrkt. As a result his thread on this, I did a deep evaluation on my "stops", emotional state near my "stops", & SLIPPAGE. I have not fully transitioned to this yet, but it is in the process and I believe it will do wonders.
of 10: Compounding R ~ Inspired by @BrianLeeTrades. I fell in love with the concept due to the fact I could create consistently manageable risk while controlling my losses & Risk of Ruin. Also allows me to objectively measure my trading performance, regardless of account size.
of 10: Systematic Entries/Exits ~ Pushed by @team3dstocks. I'll admit, this has been a pain lol but it has been revolutionary. I've got my Entries near programmable. Exits are still discretionary, but will be defined objectively in the coming months. 100% Game changing.
of 10: Risk Management ~ Encouraged by @Michael_Katz11. 90% of his tweets are about risk management and rightfully so. In the recent months, something clicked and my top focus has become controlling & minimizing losses, which also plays into controlling my risk of ruin.
of 10: Journaling ~ Motivated by @MikeBellafiore via One Good Trade. Historically I did little in this area, but after reading his book, it hit me like a brick wall: If the professionals put an emphasis into journaling and trade analysis, then I must too. Highly encouraged.
of 10: My @chatwithtraders Challenge. Inspired by my wife, I decided to listen to them all in order. I'm currently @ Ep 158. I've been positively influenced and exposed to a wealth of knowledge during this challenge. I encourage everyone to take this challenge. Also it's free.
of 10: The last few months I've shifted how I use fundamental analysis in regards to my trades. Aside from float, they do not affect WHAT I trade, but rather HOW I trade, a.k.a. trade management. This has stemmed from my systematic endeavors to objectively define my entries.
of 10: Learning to code. I knew anything about coding until I started learning it on my own at the start of 2019. Grew comfortable with Thinkscript. VBA skills have grown dramatically. Python skills still need alot of work, they get the job done for now. Highly Encouraged.
of 10: There are many more people who have helped me and inspired me on my trading journey, these are just some of my recent inspirations. You guys have done wonders to my learning curve. Thank you to all of you!

Cheers! 👊🍻
