Thanks to the President, racism is finally an open and central part of the GOP platform. It's straight forward and out front. No more "wink, wink, nudge, nudge." These guys are white nationalists. They're running on it. Which leaves you a simple choice. Are you a racist?

If you believe the hope of our nation lies in diversity and inclusion, in the power of what we create across difference, in what we can do when everyone’s voices are heard, then you cannot vote for the Republican Party. No more excuses. You just can’t.

Every fortune 500 corporation already understands that you get better return on investment with more diverse and inclusive teams. The echo chamber of our dominant culture of man box masculinity has proven itself unproductive, costly, and deeply harmful to us all.

Only when the United States Congress reflects the diversity of our larger population will it become a productive, creative, empowering influence in US politics. Until then, it will remain a retrogressive damaging extension of our bullying oppressive culture of man box masculinity

Given what we know about the profitability of diversity and inclusion, it’s safe to say that the future really is female, and people of color, and LGBTQ people, and trans people, and people of all faiths and religions, and all of us who don’t fit into any category.

Ending white domination in all our public institutions isn’t just morally right, it’s also economically powerful, socially stabilizing, healthy, and represents the ultimate moral high ground for all of us as human beings. So vote for diversity. It’s just good business.

Racists want bigotry, political manipulation and hate; a war between our history of slavery and abuse and our better brighter future. Know there are hundreds of millions of white allies lining up to fight alongside our brothers and sisters from every culture and ethnicity.

We will prevail over white nationalists because they are aging out. Because running on racist rage and hate isn't sustainable. Because they don't know how to create, only destroy. And because they are not smart enough to see the wave that is coming.

But we see it. We are the wave. And millions of young people coming along behind us are never going back. They are the beautiful product of intersecting race and culture. They are fierce and smart and they don't need the false divisions of gender and race to give them self worth.

Slowly and irreversibly, we are all becoming more connected and human. And we are never going back.
