1/ I've been asked why @CoalitionGoodGv seeks hand marked paper ballots this fall when there are only a "few" elections. Truth is that there are likely 300+ Nov municipals alone. Add Oct., + Dec. Runoffs + Jan 2020, etc. See except from brief. …altionforgoodgovernance.sharefile.com/d-sef524b4135d…
2/ Many Nov. muni elections end up in Dec. runoffs. So there'll be scores of elections in Dec. January always brings special elections. The trial is scheduled in Jan. A grant of permanent relief will take months to implement and should not be done during pres election year.
3/ Therefore we see this temporary relief--using the current Diebold system for HMPB (and thoroughly auditing each election) as adequate to protect voters in 2019 and 2020. It's the only practical choice.
