"I was on a fake ID because I wasn't allowed in": Steven 'Diplomatic Cables' Edginton (on his presence at the referendum count (at 30m 07s).
So it looks like he broke this law (legislation.gov.uk/uksi/2016/219/…). But the really interesting question is, what was he doing there?
"They gave me someone else's name... and I helped the Vote Leave campaign [unclear] whether they'd won in Portsmouth or not." Who is the "they" who gave him the fake ID?
He says he was collating votes for Vote Leave.

We know Leave funders made vast sums 'shorting' the pound based on private polling whilst @Nigel_Farage was driving up the pound saying he thought Remain had won. Was Edginton collecting this polling data? bloomberg.com/news/features/…

Lots of smart people like Peter predicting an autumn GE after Parliament has blocked No Deal. /1
But I wonder if this analysis is a bit inward looking. We can't hold a GE without 'No Dealing' unless the r27 agree to an extension. But would they - and if so on what terms? I'll come back to this. /2
You only get an Autumn General Election after Parliament has ruled out No Deal. But if there is a majority to block No Deal, why would Parliament stop there? Why would it not also require a second referendum? /3

I am open to talking with women who aren't trans about why some want single-sex spaces without trans women in them. In a world of violence, I think I understand why. But the campaign against Gender Recognition Act reform is based on lies.
The legal foundation for single sex spaces is the Equality Act. Reform to the GRA has no legislative ability to affect EA provisions, because they are different laws. Anyone telling you otherwise is lying.
To unpack this a little: In the 2004 GRA, trans people were definitively legally recognised as their acquired sex. Thereafter, we definitively had the legal right to use single sex spaces by acquired sex. Some such rights were already granted in case law. legislation.gov.uk/ukpga/2004/7/s…

UK Minister Karen Bradley was asked "for what reason do the reciprocal voting rights of Irish citizens not cover referendums". The correct answer was "Irish citizens resident in UK DO have voting rights in referendums in UK?

Why did Bradley not say so?

Bradley gave her answer on 47th anniversary of 1972 Northern Ireland referendum*. Irish citizens resident in Northern Ireland had right to vote - and in every UK referendum since.

be a British, Irish or Commonwealth citizen

It's now only 10 weeks until the window set by the EU for holding elections. 5 years ago, the UK's detailed rules were finalised 6 weeks before. So the UK Gov has time to organise - but does it have a legal duty?

It's funny. Corbyn, without a doubt, took a Eurosceptic line. But he is. That's no secret.

First fallacy: Agency workers aren't cheap! The reason? Any company has to pay both the workers rate AND the agency fee. The latter being anywhere from 18% to 60% of the worker's salary. The agency can't and doesn't charge the workers (aka work seekers). Illegal under UK law.
Both the Employment Agencies Act 1973 & Conduct of Employment Agencies and Employment Business Act 2003 (known within the industry as "the regulations" - IT Contractors, that's what you're majorly opting out of).
