@tito_mboweni announced further capital injection into Eskom to improve its solvency status. We still are yet to see its turnaround strategy promised by the president in Feb 2018. No matter how you look at it, downgrading is now inevitable.
The IMF has now written down our growth rate for 2019/20. Job losses seem to be on the increase. There is restlessness in all parts of SA. Inevitably an IMF bailout will happen. They will takeover our Treasury. Trade union breaks will be removed
This unfortunate eventuality is the price we shall pay for the policy gridlock and bincoherence brought about by the Tripartite Alliance. I predict this scenario will happen in 2020 just before the local elections. ANC will be decimated. Mark my words.
Underpinning all this is the reality that Pres Ramaphosa has opted to follow a strategy "consensus" and accommodation with the trade unions. That's the reason for the delay in the Eskom turnaround strategy. There is a corporate governance nightmare at Eskom.

5) Failing to understand that early childhood development is a key driver of education transformation immediately after 1994. 6) Failing to develop a capable state at all levels especially the munipalities. 7) Allowing patronage and corruption to grow.
