You can fix any arbitrarily large economic crash by seizing a sufficient physical asset base and distributing it internally according to some acceptable formula IF you are willing to disregard all the debits and credits external to the physical system.
As virtual systems melt down under the impact of fake information and hustles the only thing that will matter is the control of physical assets. Having enough energy, food and security will determine who survives in a redenominated world.
Perhaps the strategic logic of Brexit is rather simple: to regain the contingent ability of the UK to become an island again if necessary and gain absolute control of their physical asset base.
