@SpaceX The reason they flood the pad with water is for sound suppression.
@SpaceX Did you see how the camera was shaking as the rocket lifted off the launch pad? That's from the soundwaves hitting it.

They won't let people be more than about three miles from a launch because the soundwaves would shred your interiors.

Let's talk about fashion and politics, shall we?

As trivial as it sounds, when someone has avoidably awful hair it is a telling detail.

There are three basic reasons to dress.
1. For utility
2. For self
3. For others.
Utility, we're going to leave alone, because it's not so much about choices as survival.

So what do I mean about dressing for self vs. others? Fashion is a language.

When you're looking at a politician with avoidably bad hair, that's a choice. What are they saying? What you wear is how you present yourself to the world, especially today when human contacts are so quick. Fashion is instant language - Miuccia Prada
Fashion's goal is to demonstrate wealth. How this manifests varies by culture & era, but centers around some consistent things.
1. Conspicuous consumption vs. privilege
2. Control: Fashion serves as a gateway. It marks who is allowed to do what

My FAVOURITE blender of all time is only $1.55 and it’s the @shopmissa pawpaw wonderblender. I buy like 10 at a time and it’s cheaper than one beauty blender.

The 55¢ goes to an anti animal abuse charity. They have a firmer one and microfiber one as well (I haven’t tried those!)
Glitter can get PRICY and with a lot of it you don’t ever know if you’re getting true cosmetic safe glitter
Bulk Glitters is the PLACE for cheap eyesafe glitter. They have a TON of shades of metallic, iridescent, pearlescent, mica and holographic glitter, all for $1.50/mini jar

Dad was detained in a #Texas detention center where @RAICESTEXAS consulted. Dad accepted a deportation to be quickly reunited w/ his infant child. However, the Dad was deported & NOT his child. The now 8-month-old baby has been in ORR custody for 4 months. #EndFamilySeparation
