Our US Senators and Representatives all need a refresher course on The Constitution and the limits it put on them and their authority.
They especially need to submit to Constitutional restraints in the area of spending. In that regard, they would do well to brush up on the Founder's thoughts on the subject, beginning with that mental giant James Madison.

...Were the power of Congress to be established in the latitude contended for, it would subvert the very foundations, and transmute the very nature of the limited government established by the people of America.”
Liberty as established by the brilliance of our far-sighted Founders is far better than the ever expanding over-reach of the behemoth federal government we have today.
Americans see the twilight of our greatness through the haze of profligate spending which is increasing our $22 Trillion debt by a Trillion Dollars a year. Very soon we will be paying more for interest on that evil debt than we pay for national defense, and that is indefensible!
When we finally collapse under the enormous weight of that debt, and our currency is devalued to pay for it with pennies on the dollar, everything you have worked so hard for all those years will be gone.
We will all be paupers and at the mercy of foreign powers because the 535 big spenders used our tax dollars to buy votes instead of confining their largesse to areas mandated by our founding document.
Every politician running for office promises new programs to solve every problem industrious, responsible citizens should be solving on their own. Gone are the days of seeing thrift as a virtue. Today's elections are a race to see who can outspend whom.
Enough! Fire your three high rollers in the Senate and House who have built cushy careers and over generous retirement programs on your dime. Hire new ones who understand their Constitutional role and will heed the words of James Madison!
