This is an essential letter for those interested in the various rollover issues of FTAs. Here’s a quick explanation (thread)
There are TWO rollover processes. Process 1 assumes either a no-deal or concerns anything past a transition in a deal scenario. This requires the UK signing its own FTAs. I have tweeted repeatedly on this. @LordsEUCom scrutinises the respective FTAs.

@LordsEUCom ... the third countries were always likely to do their own analysis to see if they feel they can/should/must do that legally. So it was interesting to see what third countries actually think.
@LordsEUCom It is my understanding from the letter that countries that confidentially said they’d go along are not on the list.
