I spent the am at our local Food Bank, where we experienced the largest grp of clients since last Winter's gov't shutdown. Speaking w the Dir of SS in town, I learned that it's directly attributable to Trump's 'great' economy & the marked increase in grocery cost. #FridayFeeling
2-By @ 11 the shelves were growing pretty bare, so I'd like to put out the same call that we had during the shutdown: Food Banks need help now, please donate items when you shop. Just a simple jar of PB, or Mac & Cheese will help feed little children in your town. #FridayFeeling
We had MANY clients with small children this morning. These young families, the now working-poor, are REALLY struggling to feed their kids. And they're scared, more than I've yet seen here. And if it's happening in KENT of all places... we have to help everywhere now.
