The source of radicalisation isn't music, movies or games. It's a mix of parameters aggravating each other:
- widespread loneliness
- lack of mental health care
- political polarisation scattering individuals to sparse ideological bubbles until they have nothing to lose anymore.
This political polarisation is feeding two monsters reinforcing each other on both ends of the spectrum: the Dayton shooter was left-wing while the El Paso shooter was right-wing, both entertaining fantasies of revolution & obsessed over these fucking identity politics.
In Paris I saw another kind of radicalization with Islamic terrorism, proving that ideology doesn't matter.

It's always the same recipe: loneliness & hopelessness, exploited by manipulative ideologies selling an illusion of purpose & transcendence through sacrifice.
