read the article, NYT can’t find more than 4 Repubs who want to act on guns, and two are from Ohio, scene of latest massacre
if you cover politics for a living and you *honestly* think GOP and Trump are going to quickly pass gun laws, yr in the wrong line of work

shocker: NYT omits the fact it spent 2016 publishing the names of Clinton donors (back then, GOP was in favor)
let’s be clear: NYT (and others) didn’t just publish names of Clinton donors, they spent year *actively investigating* donors bc they decided Foundation “optics” were bad

Want to know the REAL reason for the ICE RAID on that particular food processing plant in Mississippi? And why it was carried out for maximum cruelty effect?

The plant owner was abusing the workers & not paying them. The workers sued & won.

The plant owner is a GOP donor.

The ICE RAID reeks of "payback" & serves as warning to other abused undocumented immigrants of what will happen if they speak up for their rights.

Americans are once again allowing the Republican and Democrat party divide us over race, when in fact race is not the issue! Please look at the foreign policies these woman support, and the policies they do not support! This is not about race & we must address the real issues!

6 years ago, we watched those babies walk out of #SandyHook - & were torn apart, as a nation, by the memory of those who didn't make it.

Many of us had been told that we "couldn't" talk about guns.

But after Sandy Hook, many of us said "no more; we will not be silent."
A few bravely started talking and writing about why #gunviolence was a #publichealth issue. Those few, turned into a wave. The groundwork was slowly laid.

2. Particularly, I want to draw your attention to this statement from Paul Ryan. Basically, he’s pointing out that because Lamb didn’t have a primary opponent, he was able to run as a more conservative Dem which allowed him to win a district DT won by 20 pts.
3. Let’s unpack that a little. Two things are implied here. One, they know that GOP (and their support of DT) is frowned on enough that there is willingness to vote Dem in red districts with palatable messaging (moderate, willingness to work in a bipartisan manner).
