1) If @GenFlynn were freed today, many have said with joy, how wonderful it would be to make him Director of National Intelligence, and I couldn't agree more. However, my understanding is that requires Senate confirmation, and that won't happen under current politics.
@GenFlynn 2) What I'd like to imagine is an appointment of some form that does NOT require Senate confirmation. I do not recommend firing John Bolton, so it has to be something other than his former slot as National Security Advisor.
@GenFlynn 3) What might that look like? I have a treat to offer you Gen Flynn supporters, on the chance you haven't seen it yet. Gen Flynn's interview with Mehdi Hassan is, I believe the best and most revealing ever done. It's awesome!

@GenFlynn 4) What you want to do is watch the entire riveting hour. But, our section commences at 12:50 in. Pay especial attention to Gen Flynn's comments of Abu Ghraib. He tells us it took him about three days to shut it down. He was its avenging angel. Watch the contained fury.
@GenFlynn 5) So, here's my vision. Gen Flynn is released from his gag order today by a #PardonByInnocence. Immediately, he, @POTUS and AG Barr sit down and discuss the Jeffrey Epstein's "suicide." I don't know the formal title of such, but the outcome should be a special investigation.
@GenFlynn @POTUS 6) Walk it out with me. What if the DOJ again fumbles this? Imagine, crazy as it might be, conspiracy theory and all that, that the Clintons order Epstein's assassination. What if their reach and power still holds within the DOJ. Why wasn't Comey indicted? This all reeks, right?
@GenFlynn @POTUS 7) Enter Gen Flynn. A freed man, there would be no more fearsome investigator to get to the bottom of the Epstein case. No one has more experience, nor the courage, spine, and integrity to handle this investigation. Alas, I have to give you my sad prediction.
@GenFlynn @POTUS 8) There will be no pardon today. And consider the case above. What a loss to America that Gen Flynn is not able to speak, and therefore, he is not able to be hired as a Special Investigator by the DOJ. How much does America lose each and every day he is gagged?
@GenFlynn @POTUS 9) Every time someone says, "Gen Flynn doesn't need a pardon, he'll be exonerated," I always ask back, when? How many days from now? And are you sure? If so, how do you know? There are uncountable other missions he might be deployed upon. But not today. He is still gagged.
@GenFlynn @POTUS 10) I know my scenario is only that, and will not happen. But it should. Or, some other mission that @GenFlynn alone could complete. Alas, not yet. Which is why, everyday I petition...

Clearly, we must list them again, the Nine Changes:

1) Intractable Terrain
2) Crossroads
3) Dire
4) Enclosed
5) Death
6) Roads NOT to Take
7) Armies NOT to Attack
8) Towns NOT to Besiege
9) Terrains NOT to Contest
If you've been studying, really studying, then all nine should at least be familiar. But, don't worry, today's focus is only on the first five, called the Five Advantages. The last four, you may recall, is called the Four Contingencies. All nine are the Nine Changes.

1) Sun Tzu teaches us that command and discipline are the two most fundamental elements of victory. Command is certainly responsible for instilling discipline. But the true force of discipline is in the hearts and souls of those who are led, of we followers.
2) Leadership must place the strongest in front, the weakest at rear. It must guard the flanks and integrate right and left. The unit will be attacked, and it is leadership - command - that keeps it together. Command must chose the targets for attack, and the moments of retreat.
3) When strategic command is followed by tactical discipline, the fighting unit will not be defeated. The progressive left knows this. Its fighting structure of command and discipline is far better than ours on the right. Its funding is vastly greater too.

Director of National Intelligence Dan Coats issued a carefully worded statement, confirming that his agencies will turn over “all of the appropriate information” for the DOJ review.
But, Coats added, “I am confident that the Attorney General will work with the [intelligence community] in accordance with the long-established standards to protect highly-sensitive classified information that, if publicly released, would put our national security at risk.”
"While the order includes a caveat that the directive should not impair “the authority granted by law” to agency heads on classification, it also notes that Barr has to consult these agency heads only “to the extent he deems it practicable” about declassification decisions."
