Don't be.
This used to be a much bigger issue, but FB has done a good job to basically eliminate it.
In this thread, I'll explain what it is and what you need to be doing to avoid any problems.
**Audience Overlap Thread**
Meaning that you could compete against yourself and drive up the costs.
Luckily, FB now prevents you from being able to compete against yourself.
It will remove the ad set that has a worse performance history.
Which is very important to understand.
So, you need to keep that in mind if you have multiple ad sets with similar targeting.
Meaning they won't spend that much or any sometimes depending on the amount ad sets you have competing for a specific audience and the performance history of those ad sets.
If you have any questions, please let me know.
If you want more info on FB ads, check out this thread below ⬇️
Usually I only like to use one audience in 1 ad set.
There are exceptions, where I'll be using large audiences that are 100 million plus in multiple ad sets.
Meaning I don't want FB getting involved in the auction and taking out an ad set.
Just because an ad set performed well in the past doesn't mean it'll perform going forward.
Hope all of this makes sense for you guys and if it doesn't please don't be afraid to ask a question.
Thanks,
AA
