Democrat Presidential candidate @ewarren wants to:

1. Require background checks for private gun sales (or any gun transfer).

Hint #1: This is unenforceable without a federal gun registry.
Hint #2: Criminals do not follow laws.

2. Create a federal firearms licensing system.

Hint #1: That means a federal database of gun owners.
Hint #2: The obvious companion to this would be a federal gun registry.
Hint #3. Criminals do not follow laws. If they want guns, they will get guns without a "license".

3. Raise the minimum age to purchase a firearm to 21.

Hint #1: Mass shooters must be 21 or older. So, the Dayton and El Paso shooters were all good. 👍
Hint #2: Criminals intent on killing don't care what age limit you impose.

4. Prosecute firearms traffickers.

Hint #1: This is already illegal.

5. (Saving the best for last!) BAN, BAN, BAN!

Ban assault weapons
Ban high-capacity ammunition magazines
Ban anything else that comes up that looks scary

Hint #1: "Assault weapons" is a made up term.
Hint #2: Come and take them.

Lizzy is making a promise:

"I will introduce it in the first 100 days and I will help repeal the filibuster so that we can actually get it passed in Congress"

6. Cap firearm purchases to one per month

Hint #1: You mean if a criminal needs 3 guns to commit a mass shooting, they have to wait 3 whole months!? Man, these people! 🤪

7. Close the “boyfriend loophole” to protect survivors of domestic abuse.

8. Raise taxes on gun manufacturers to 30% on firearms and 50% on ammunition.

Hint #1: We're going to let you keep your guns, but we're going to make them so expensive you can't buy them.
Hint #2: Don't vote for someone who has despotic tendencies AND is🦇💩🤪
