- Jo Swinson will work with Tom Watson.
- Jeremy Corbyn won't work with anyone.
- Tom Watson is at odds with Jeremy Corbyn.
- Jo Swinson is at odds with Jeremy Corbyn.
- Jeremy Corbyn is at odds with everyone.
Can anyone see the problem?🤔

1) JC and key front bench MPs will *only* back a GNU that is led by Corbyn. They would rather a GE than any other form of GNU.
2) Not enough MPs from other parties trust Corbyn (seeing him as a Brexiter). They'll work with Labour on a GNU, but not under him.
No wonder MPs *actually trying to stop Brexit* don't trust him!
GNU route is likely to go nowhere.
Labour is not a party of Remain. It's a party, at best, of trying to derail a Tory Brexit. That may align very usefully with Remain, but it's not the same as *being* Remain.
They can't back a minority Labour government because it's Labour.
This is basic political calculus. So basic, Corbyn *must* realise that.
A GNU with Corbyn sidelined is clearly a GNU. Gives Tories the necessary cover to vote for it.
