Religious Jews would be unable to vote in this election as it will be on the first day of the festival of Sukkot.
No writing allowed on the first day of Sukkot so can’t vote. No exceptions if you’re Orthodox and observant. Would also apply on 15th. Nb Labour lost narrowly in the three significantly Jewish London constituencies in 2017
Could potentially do a postal vote but would require quick registration. Will there be time?

I find this extremely worrying. We have been largely spared US-style ‘culture wars’, where primarily ethical issues are bound up with political allegiances. Make no mistake: linking an important human rights issue to tribal loyalty will make it intractable thetimes.co.uk/article/boris-…
I have experienced this first hand with the Labour antisemitism issue. Binding a human rights issue to tribal political allegiance distorts the issue and causes people to lose their sense of right and wrong, as their factional loyalty blinds them to the underlying principles
The ‘trans rights vs women’s rights’ issue (a dichotomy which I believe is false, as these are not diametrically opposed, though they can require balancing in certain situations) is already fiercely contested. Adding political allegiance into the mix will help no one

I think “probably” is putting this too highly.
These are the ingredients of the offence. I'm not sure it is sufficiently clear - beyond reasonable doubt - Parliament can compel Executive to take precise actions (though it may well be case) and also Boris can argue national interest was served therefore has a reasonable excuse
I'm not saying he would succeed on these arguments, but I think a court would be extremely careful not to wade into an issue such as this, which is very political (though accept also principle at stake), by criminally convicting the Prime Minister!

I was just rereading Deuteronomy and that stuff in Deuteronomy 28 really seems like it must be describing the almost 2,000 year exile from Jerusalem. The galut or galuyot, right? But then the beginning of Deut 30 promises return! Yay!

So...
We have some sense of just how observant and “righteous” these first century Pharisees were — from Josephus and even Tacitus. But it strikes me that these Pharisees, whom modern rabbinic Jews hold up as an example, were the ones that god apparently sent into a 2,000 year exile...
Now, is it that this section in Deuteronomy supposedly does not refer to this long exile? Did god not mention this long exile to come in the Torah? I think he did, but what do you think, Jew?

If Deut 28 is about this exile, then some questions. If not... what IS this exile?!

Attached was this article that said these “Data Operations” helped Trump win WI & will used for the 2018 midterms.

Trump won* WI by just 22,748 votes.

200,000+ in WI were unable to vote in 2016.

Along with MI & PA, WI was one of the 3 swing states that gave* the EC to Trump by a scant 78,652 votes.

All 3 States were among the 39 states reported as hacked by Russia.

Exit polls are a scientifically proven litmus test. In 2016, they were off by as high as 10%

Anything above ~2.5% indicates suspect anomalies. It triggers other countries to nullify elections.

In the swing states of MI, PA, & WI—all were all above 3%.
