#ImpeachTrumpNow Mueller tax returns Russia etc. will be useful in court for sentencing. But are totally unnecessary to impeach. The vague Impeachment Clause is no excuse. Cowardly Democrats are simply afraid of the polls because the majority don’t support impeachment.

So #MakeTheCase. It’s very simple. Article II.4: “Treason Bribery or other high Crimes & Misdemeanors.” Emolument violations are bribery - “to influence the conduct with money.” Emolument violations are impeachable all by themselves. tRuMp violates takes bribes DAILY.
Article I.9.8: [No] Person holding any Office under [the United States] shall… accept of any present [or] Emolument… of any kind whatever from …foreign State.”
An emolument is a gift, payment, fee, income, revenue or profit. There are thousands of hotels, restaurants and banquet halls in DC. When the govt of Saudi Arabia throws a huge banquet at the tRumP hotel ballroom, they do so specifically to buy favor
w/ the Pres of the US, as he is receiving the profits. Every foreign official who stays at his hotel does so as a gift to the Pres. Black's Law Dictionary defines it as the giving of any item of value to influence the actions of an official. Emolument is always bribery.
The Pres in particular is restricted from receiving any Emoluments from the Federal or state govts. (II.1.7). So, if he profiteers from his golf courses, hotels and condos by having the Secret Service state there, or if, the GOP AG’s hold a meeting at one,
or if Senators stay at one, he is receiving emoluments.

Yes. the GOP Senate will not convict him. Indeed, will probably not even vote. But Democrats are establishing a precedence is that future presidents can do ANYTHING. They have an Obligation to their office & to history to uphold the Constitution.
Representatives took an oath. Article VI.3. “Representatives … shall be bound by Oath…to support this Constitution.”
If their Word & Oath mean nothing to them, note that NOT TO VOTE for impeachment is itself an IMPEACHABLE OFFENSE. THEY should be impeached for breaking their oaths of office.
Only two Pres’ have been (but not removed). Andrew Johnson was impeached for replacing Cabinet secretaries, which is totally legal. Came w/in 1 vote of being removed. Clinton for supposedly lying about sex (he technically didn’t – they have defined sex as intercourse).
But a Senator, a cabinet officer & 15 federal judges have been impeached. The Senator for treason (with the British), others for supporting the Confederacy, for drunkenness, abuse of power, perjury, tax evasion, sexual assault, false financial disclosures & BRIBERY.
Other than treason (technically, we need to be at war), tRumP is guilty of them all.

The Resistance needs to hold these Democrats who are complicit with tRumP, by opposing impeachment, accountable.
In 2018 we elected 40 freshman DINO’s in suburban districts, and that they risk losing in 2020 in they vote for impeachment. Their nervousness is understandable. But others we can and should hold responsible.
We have 235 House Democrats. We need 218 votes for impeachment. Only about 131 have called for impeachment
There is an easy way to move that number higher, and also create a more liberal Congress, to counterbalance those 40 freshmen. #Primary from the Left all those in Safe districts who oppose impeachment.
