Here's the main problem with the last ten days in UK politics - it has made everyone angrier. Brexiteers supporting no-deal will say "quite right too" to the below. Opponents of no-deal will indignantly agree with what Keir Starmer says here.

It's no way to run a country.
Remainers will blame Brexiteers for divisions and vice versa. Not completely without justification. But ultimately it is the responsibility of Government to find a path to reconciliation, and they have done virtually nothing to fulfill this role.
There will never be an overall winner between remain and leave. Each will have their successes. But the only long term answer is going to be a compromise

Should have been 'no' realistic compromise proposals to date. But here's the thing - negotiations can tackle problems, produce compromises. But only if entered in good faith, with specificity, with flexibility.

Such an approach has not by and large suited UK politicians.
I proposed improvements to the Brexit deal back in January. I stand by them. But they were too remain-y for Brexiteers and too leave-y for remainers. A country can't successfully negotiate externally faced with such a domestic split linkedin.com/pulse/brexit-d…

Back to trying to decode Brexit talks. Suddenly the talk is of a UK proposal based around an all-Ireland SPS (food products basically) zone which the UK will present to the EU at the European Council on Oct 17. For now there seem few grounds for optimism 1/
The EU's checks on animals / food products are far more exacting than in any other area, thus the ERG associated Alternative Arrangements Commission experts struggled to even put forward a solution without some all-island commonality. This seems to what the UK Gov proposes 2/
This proposal actually offers no guarantee of no border infrastructure, as at any time Northern Ireland can diverge, requiring border checks if the Republic chooses not to diverge from the EU as will be the case. Not sensible, not going to be acceptable 3/

Air boxing by top #UK officials is amazing. Who punching at? Unlike in London, #Brexit never been much fight in Brussels, more lament. When some urged penalty in financial settlement, EU ignored & just tabbed up #'s. Citizen rights a 2-way street. Other stuff mainly logistical..
Point again is not to take any side, but merely point out Brussels has had consistent principles, goals & negotiating positions from the start. London still has no consensus on final objective. No one I know in #EU has advocated for "no deal" but some in #UK actually do that...
Have had many many long conversations w/ top London colleagues. Am very conscious of all arguments & concerns on #UK side, incl over Northern Ireland. But even in no deal scenario, #UK will end up facing exact same choice on future relationship w/ EU as now, but w/o transition...

High volume makes me suspect bot activity. I looked for repeated tweets, and found quite a few. 127 accounts tweeted this, for example.
Next I looked at the top 40 accounts (measured by number of RTs) driving the #UraniumOne traffic. @RealJamesWoods is the biggest source.
